PRODUCER : SATORI SHIRAISHI

Satori Shiraishi is a Japanese composer, arranger, music producer, and songwriter. Born on November 15, 1971, in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, he has established himself as one of the most versatile and in-demand creators in the J-pop and rock scenes.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Shiraishi first gained attention in the early 2000s through his work as a composer and arranger. His ability to blend catchy melodies with sophisticated arrangements quickly earned him the trust of major artists. He has contributed to a wide range of projects, including:

• ORANGE RANGE  (produced since their debut, including their breakthrough album musiQ, which sold over 2.6 million copies)

• SCANDAL

• Nogizaka46 and other Sakamichi Series idol groups

• Many others

His production style is characterized by emotional depth, dynamic arrangements, and a strong sense of what makes a song resonate with listeners. In addition to his behind-the-scenes work, he also releases music under the name SATORI.shiraishi. His first solo album, Happydom (2007), was an ambitious project recorded across multiple studios in New York (Avatar Studios), Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Hawaii. The album features an all-star lineup of world-class musicians including Nathan East (bass), Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), Basiri Johnson (percussion), Ray Parker Jr. (guitar), Will Lee (bass), and Omar Hakim (drums). Drawing heavily from his roots in rock, pop, jazz, and blues, the 13-track album showcased his rich expressiveness as a singer-songwriter and left a strong impression of his international musical sensibility. In 2021, he also formed the limited unit “49” with actor Naohito Fujiki.

He has also worked extensively on theme songs and music for anime, television, commercials, and films, including Disney music localization and contributions as arranger and performer for the Ultraman series.
